Selection Process
Selection will be based on 50-50 weightage of marks from essential technical qualification and Trade Test/Interview. In case of excessive applications, GCF reserves the right to shortlist candidates based on essential qualification marks, previous job experience, and brief description of previous job. Stage: Details Shortlisting (if required): Based on essential qualification marks, previous experience, and job description submitted Trade Test / Practical Test: Minimum 40% marks required to qualify; 5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates only Written Test / Interview: Minimum 40% marks required to qualify; 5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates only Overall Selection: Combined weightage: 50% Trade Test/Interview + 50% Essential Technical Qualification marks Candidates not securing minimum marks in either the Practical/Trade Test or Written Test/Interview will be declared Not Qualified. Candidates who do not submit a self-declaration on detailed experience will not be called for Practical Test/Interview.
