Salary
Selected candidates for GSSSB X-Ray Assistant Recruitment 2026 will initially be appointed on a fixed pay before moving to the regular pay matrix. During the first five years, appointees will receive a fixed monthly pay of ₹26,000 as per the Finance Department's resolutions. After five years, subject to satisfactory service, candidates will be placed in the regular Pay Level-2 of the 7th Pay Commission, ranging from ₹19,900 to ₹63,200 per month, along with other applicable benefits under the relevant government resolutions. This regularization is subject to the outcome of pending SLP No. 14124/2012 and SLP No. 14125/2012 before the Supreme Court.
