Salary
Period: Pay First 5 Years: Fixed pay of ₹26,000 per month After 5 Years (on satisfactory service): Regular 7th Pay Commission scale: ₹25,500 – ₹81,100 (Level-4) Regularization after 5 years remains subject to the outcome of SLP No. 14124/2012 and SLP No. 14125/2012 pending before the Supreme Court, as stated in the official notification.
Exam Pattern
Part: Subject | Marks Part A: Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation | 30 Mathematical/Numerical Ability: 30 Indian Constitution, Current Affairs, Gujarati & English Comprehension: 30 Part B: Subject-related questions (Sanitary Inspector domain) | 120 Total: 210 • Total 210 questions (multiple-choice), 210 marks, combined duration of 3 hours (180 minutes) for Part A and Part B. • Negative marking: ¼ mark deducted for each wrong answer. • Qualifying standard: Minimum 40% separately in both Part A and Part B, for all categories. • Document verification is called for candidates up to approximately twice the number of vacancies per category, based on provisional merit. • Final selection list and waiting list are prepared based on marks obtained, category-wise vacancies, and document verification outcome.

• Visit the official website ojas.gujarat.gov.in. • Go to "Online Application" → click Apply → select GSSSB. • Select Advertisement No. 455/2026-27, Sanitary Inspector, Class-3 and click Apply. • Read the "More Details" notification carefully before proceeding. • Click "Apply Now" → "Skip" to open the application format and fill in Personal Details. • Fill in Educational Details in the next step. • Accept the declaration/assurance ("Yes") and click Save to generate the Application Number. • Upload photograph and signature in the prescribed JPG format and size. • Click "Confirm Application" after a final review. • Download and keep a printout of the confirmed application. • Pay the requisite examination fee online by 03 September 2026, 11:59 PM. Important: Only the last confirmed application (with fee paid) will be considered valid if a candidate submits more than one application.
