Eligibility

Salary
Selected candidates will be appointed on a fixed pay of ₹26,000 per month for the first five years, as per the applicable Finance Department resolutions. On satisfactory completion of five years of service, candidates will be eligible for regular appointment in the Level-4 pay scale of the 7th Pay Commission, subject to the outcome of pending Supreme Court SLP No. 14124/2012 and SLP No. 14125/2012.

Selection Process
Selection for the GSSSB Bagayat Madadnish Recruitment 2026 will be made through a single-stage competitive examination, followed by document verification: • The exam is a Computer Based Response Test (CBRT) / OMR-based objective (MCQ) test, consisting of two parts - Part-A and Part-B - in a single question paper. • Part-A (90 marks, 90 questions): Reasoning & Data Interpretation (30 marks), Quantitative Aptitude (30 marks), and Constitution of India, Current Affairs, and Gujarati & English Comprehension (30 marks). • Part-B (120 marks, 120 questions): Subject-specific questions related to Horticulture and its practical applications, covering Fruit Science, Vegetable Science, Floriculture & Landscape Architecture, Post-Harvest Technology, Natural Resource Management, Plant Protection, Basic Science, Social Science, and current trends in these fields. • A combined total of 3 hours (180 minutes) is given for both Part-A and Part-B. • Negative marking applies: 1/4th of the marks allotted to a question is deducted for each wrong answer. • After the exam, GSSSB will publish a provisional answer key, followed by a final answer key after considering candidate objections. • Both Part-A and Part-B have independent minimum qualifying standards of 40% each; no category of candidate can have a qualifying standard below 40% in either part. • Based on the combined merit score within qualifying standards, approximately twice the number of category-wise vacancies will be called for document v…

Required Documents

Important Instructions
