Selection Process
The Search-cum-Selection Committee will recommend a panel of three to five suitable candidates to the Governor (Chancellor) for appointment. The selection process shall be conducted in accordance with the judgment of the Hon'ble High Court of Himachal Pradesh in CWP No. 4259 of 2026 and CWP No. 5087 of 2026, the Himachal Pradesh Universities of Agriculture, Horticulture and Forestry Act, 1986 (Act No. 4 of 1987), and the applicable provisions of the University Grants Commission Regulations, 2018.
