Post Level: Maximum Age Additional General Manager: 53 years for contract, 57 years for deputation and 62 years for post-superannuation Joint General Manager: 50 years for contract, 57 years for deputation and 62 years for post-superannuation Deputy General Manager: 45 years for contract, 57 years for deputation and 62 years for post-superannuation Manager: 40 years Assistant Manager: 35 years Engineer – Senior Grade: 32 years Age and experience will be calculated as of 19 September 2026. The age limit does not apply to existing GMRCL employees, except officials re-employed after superannuation.
Salary
The revised IDA pay scales range from ₹35,000–1,10,000 for Engineer – Senior Grade to ₹1,00,000–2,60,000 for Additional General Manager. • Additional General Manager post-superannuation pay: ₹1,45,000 per month. • Joint General Manager post-superannuation pay: ₹1,45,000 per month. • Deputy General Manager post-superannuation pay: ₹1,00,000 per month. • Deputation pay and benefits will be governed by the applicable terms and conditions. • Other benefits, group medical coverage and group personal accident insurance may be provided according to GMRC policy.

The selection process will include the following stages: • Shortlisting of eligible applicants • Document verification • Personal interview • Medical examination according to the category prescribed for the post The selection process may assess the candidate’s knowledge, experience, skills, expertise, aptitude and physical fitness.
