Eligibility
• Nationality: Candidate must be an Indian National. Post Name: Educational Qualification Senior Resident, CMO, Resident Anaesthetist & Resident Pathologist: Postgraduate Medical Degree i.e. (M.D./M.S./DNB/M.Ch./D.M) OR equivalent in the concerned specialty (recognized by MCI/NMC and registered either with Medical Council of India or State Medical Council). Candidates who have completed three years tenure of Senior Residency are not eligible.
Age Limit
• Senior Resident, CMO, Resident Anaesthetist & Resident Pathologist -45 Years (Upper Age Limit) Criteria: Age Upper Age Limit: 45 years as on 01.01.2026 Age Relaxation: • 3 years for OBC • 5 years for SC • 5 years for Govt. Servants (through proper channel) • 10 years for widows/deserted women and women judicially separated (not remarried)
Application Fee
• ₹500/- (₹250/- for SC candidates). • Fee is to be deposited on the spot at GMCH. Candidates applying for multiple posts/departments need to pay only once.
Selection Process
• Walk-in Interview on 20 April 2026. • Applications will be received up to 11:00 A.M. and interview will be held at 2:00 P.M. on the same day. • Final selection on the basis of performance in the interview.
How to Apply
• Interested candidates can download the prescribed application form from the official website of GMCH. • Duly filled application form along with photocopies of relevant certificates/testimonials, recent passport size photograph and non-refundable application fee must be submitted in the Establishment Branch-II, Block-D, GMCH-32, Chandigarh on the same day before 11:00 A.M. • Candidates must also bring all original certificates/testimonials for verification. • Walk-in Interview will be held on 20 April 2026 at 2:00 P.M.
Important Instructions
• Number of vacancies is tentative and can increase or decrease. • Selected candidates from walk-in interview must apply afresh when regular advertisement is released. • Candidates already in Government service must route application through proper channel and submit NOC within 3 days of interview. • Persons whose services were earlier dispensed with on account of misconduct are not eligible. • Incomplete applications or applications without required documents will be rejected. • No TA/DA will be paid for attending the walk-in interview. • Director Principal, GMCH reserves the right to cancel or modify the recruitment process without assigning any reason.
