Candidates must be at least 18 years old and no older than 44 years, as on 01.07.2026. This limit follows G.O.Ms.No.86 dated 18.05.2026 of GAD (Ser.A) Dept., Government of Telangana. The maximum age is relaxed as follows: Category: Age Relaxation SC/ST/BCs & EWS: 5 Years Ex-Servicemen: 3 Years Persons with Disabilities: 10 Years
Selection Process
There is no written test. The District Selection Committee, Rajanna Sircilla selects candidates on merit, out of 100 marks: Component: Marks Marks obtained in the qualifying examination: 90 Age weightage: 10 Age weightage is counted from age 18. Each completed year earns 0.5 marks, up to a maximum of 10, with age reckoned as on 01.07.2026. The notice gives three examples: 20 years earns 1.0 mark, 30 years earns 6.0 marks and 38 years earns 10 marks. • The merit list will be displayed on the website, and objections will be invited. • The selection list will be drawn from the finalised merit list, following the rule of reservation and the Presidential Order 2018. • Reservation for community, disability and Ex-Service Men/Women follows the AP State and Subordinate Service Rules, 1996, as adopted by Telangana. • 33 1/3% reservation for women applies, under G.O.Ms.No.3 dated 10.02.2024 and G.O.Ms.No.35 dated 13.02.2024.
