Eligibility
Age Limit (as on 01.07.2026): 21 to 40 years • Upper age relaxation: 05 years for SC/ST/OBC (U.P.) and other categories as per U.P. Government norms. • Persons with Disabilities (U.P.): 15 years relaxation. • Ex-Servicemen & Dependents of Freedom Fighters: As per U.P. Government rules. • No applicant above the maximum age (after relaxation) will be eligible. Educational Qualification (as on last date of application): Post: Eligibility Criteria Laboratory Technician: Intermediate with Science + Diploma in relevant subject (Medical Laboratory Technology) from U.P. State Medical Faculty or equivalent recognized institution OT Technician: Intermediate with Science + Diploma in relevant subject (Operation Theatre Technology) from U.P. State Medical Faculty or equivalent recognized institution Note: No experience is required

Selection Process
Selection will be done in the following stage: • Computer Based Test (CBT) - Objective Type (qualifying + merit) Only shortlisted candidates on the basis of CBT merit will be considered for appointment. GIMS decision regarding eligibility & shortlisting shall be final. CBT Exam Pattern (120 Minutes - Objective Type) S. No.: Particulars | Question Type 1: Core Subject (Theoretical Knowledge) | Objective 2: General Awareness / Practical Knowledge | Objective Total: Objective • 80% questions from Core Subject (Theoretical) • 20% questions from General Awareness / Practical Knowledge • Negative Marking: 1/4 mark deducted for every wrong answer • CBT divided into 4 sections (candidates cannot go back to previous sections)

• Candidates must apply only through online registration system on the link provided on the official website. • While applying, ensure you fulfil all eligibility criteria as on the specified dates. • Fill the online application carefully and upload all required documents (Date of Birth, High School/Intermediate, Diploma certificates & marksheets, caste/PwD/Ex-Servicemen certificates etc.). • Pay the requisite registration fee online. • Submit the application and take printout of the registration form & fee receipt for future reference. • Download Admit Card (will be available on registered email / portal as per schedule). • Appear in the CBT with Admit Card + original valid photo ID proof.
