Eligibility
• Senior Scientific Officer (DNA): M.Sc. (1st Division) or Ph.D. in Zoology / Physical Anthropology / Genetics / Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Microbiology / Molecular Biology / Forensic Science, or equivalent qualification in any of the above subjects, with Zoology / Botany as one of the subjects at B.Sc. level. Minimum five (05) years' post-qualification hands-on experience of Forensic DNA casework in a State / Central Forensic Science Laboratory, including STR profiling, capillary electrophoresis, mixture interpretation and statistical analysis. • Senior Scientific Assistant (DNA): M.Sc. (1st Division) or Ph.D. in Zoology / Physical Anthropology / Genetics / Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Microbiology / Molecular Biology / Forensic Science, or equivalent qualification in any of the above subjects, with Zoology / Botany as one of the subjects at B.Sc. level. Minimum three (03) years' post-qualification hands-on experience of Forensic DNA casework in a State / Central Forensic Science Laboratory, including STR profiling, capillary electrophoresis, mixture interpretation and statistical analysis. • Scientific Assistant (DNA): M.Sc. (at least 2nd Division) in Zoology / Physical Anthropology / Genetics / Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Microbiology / Molecular Biology / Forensic Science, or equivalent qualification in any of the above subjects, with Zoology / Botany as one of the subjects at B.Sc. level.
