Eligibility

Age Limit
• Teaching Faculty (Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor): 69 years (not exceeding) • Senior Resident: Up to 45 years • Tutor: Up to 40 years The maximum tenure of engagement will be till the candidate attains 70 years of age for teaching faculty, whichever is earlier, provided other rules and regulations are satisfied.
Salary
Pay and allowances are as per OM No. Z-11012/51/2022-Med VI dated 08.12.2022: Post: Fixed Basic Pay Professor: Rs. 1,23,100/- + other admissible allowances Associate Professor: Rs. 78,800/- + other admissible allowances Assistant Professor: Rs. 67,700/- + other admissible allowances Senior Resident: Rs. 67,700/- + other admissible allowances Tutor: Rs. 56,100/- + other admissible allowances In the case of engagement of retired employees/pensioners, they may be allowed to draw total pay without any deduction, as this is not treated as a case of re-employment under the Central Civil Services (Fixation of Pay of Re-Employed Pensioner) Orders, 1986. Such retired employees/pensioners can continue to draw pension and dearness relief on pension during their period of contractual engagement.

Category: Fee Amount SC/ST/ESIC (Regular Employee)/Female Candidate/Defence Ex-servicemen & PH Candidate: Nil All Other Categories: Rs. 500/- Mode of Payment: Through Demand Draft in favor of "ESI Fund A/c No.-1", payable at Varanasi. The fee, once paid, will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Selection Process
• Selection will be made on the basis of the candidate's acquired academic credentials and performance in the interview before the Selection Board. • The result will be displayed on the website www.esic.gov.in, and the Offer of Appointment will be sent through email. • Selected candidates will have to join as per the instructions mentioned in the offer of appointment. The notification does not mention any written examination as part of the selection process; selection is based on academic credentials and interview performance only.
