Candidates with qualifications under Part-II of the Third Schedule must also satisfy the conditions of sub-section (3) of section 13 of the same Act, and must have completed compulsory rotating internship. All candidates must possess updated Medical Registration with the NMC or the concerned State Medical Council; candidates without updated registration must submit proof of having applied for it.

Eligibility

Age Limit
• Teaching Faculty (Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor): Not exceeding 67 years • Senior Resident (Pre/Para-clinical): Not exceeding 50 years • Senior Resident (Clinical): Not exceeding 45 years • Medical Officer: Not exceeding 35 years Age relaxation is applicable as per prevailing Government of India norms. Retired or currently working Professors may also apply for eligible posts.

Post Name: Remuneration Professor: Fixed Basic Pay of Rs. 1,23,100/- (Level 13) + other allowances Associate Professor: Fixed Basic Pay of Rs. 78,800/- (Level 12) + other allowances Assistant Professor: Fixed Basic Pay of Rs. 67,700/- (Level 11) + other allowances Senior Resident: Fixed Basic Pay of Rs. 67,700/- (Level 11) + other allowances Medical Officer: Fixed Basic Pay of Rs. 56,100/- (Level 10) + other allowances Allowances are admissible as per ESIC Headquarters norms and ESIC Headquarters Office Memorandum No. Z-11012/51/2022-MED-VI dated 08.12.2022, or any subsequent orders. Non-medical officers, if selected, are not entitled to Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA).

Selection Process
• Selection is based on the candidate's acquired academic credentials and performance in the interview, conducted by a duly constituted selection board. • The result will be published only in the Recruitments section of the official website, www.esic.gov.in. • The offer of appointment will be sent through e-mail only. • Selected candidates must join as per the instructions mentioned in the offer of appointment.
How to Apply
• Offline Application Only: There is no online application process. Candidates must bring the completed offline application form (attached with the advertisement) along with self-attested copies of the required documents and checklist at the time of document verification. • Document Verification First: Only candidates whose documents are successfully verified by the Document Verification Committee will be permitted to appear before the Interview Board. • Multiple Post Applications: Candidates may apply for more than one post if they meet the eligibility criteria for each; however, a separate application form, documents, and applicable fee must be submitted for each post. • Reach the Venue on Time: Report between 09:00 AM and 10:00 AM at the Office of the Dean, ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar, Odisha (Near Hotel Mayfair), on the applicable interview date.

Important Instructions
