Eligibility
• Full Time/Part Time Specialist: PG Degree or Diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognised university, with 3 years' experience after acquiring the PG Degree, or 5 years' experience after the Diploma. • Senior Resident: PG Degree or Diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognised university. Non-PG candidates need 2 years of working experience in the concerned department. • Super Specialist (Cardiology): Post-Graduation qualification in the concerned specialty, registered with the Medical Council of India or a State Medical Council, along with a DM/M.Ch in the concerned super specialty. • Senior Resident (Against GDMO): PG Degree/Diploma or an MBBS Degree from a recognised university, with at least 2 years of working experience in the same discipline in which the candidate is proposed to be engaged.

Selection Process
Selection is made through a walk-in interview conducted by an Interview Board at the Office of the Medical Superintendent, ESIC Model Hospital, Katha, Baddi. The decision of the Interview Board is final on all aspects of selection, and no further correspondence will be entertained. Selection is also subject to the candidate proving medical fitness and successful verification of character and antecedents.

Eligible and willing candidates must follow the walk-in interview process described below. • Download and duly fill the prescribed Application Form available with the advertisement on the official website. • Affix a self-attested photograph on the filled application form. • Attach self-attested photocopies of certificates related to educational qualification, age, category, and experience. • Report to the Office of the Medical Superintendent, ESIC Model Hospital, Katha, Baddi, Himachal Pradesh - 173205, on 9 September 2026 between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM. • Carry all original certificates and documents for verification at the time of the interview. • Government service candidates must additionally produce a No Objection Certificate from their department at the time of interview.

Candidates must bring original certificates along with one set of self-attested photocopies of the following documents at the time of the interview: • Age proof • MBBS Certificate • Two recent passport-size photographs • Caste Certificate for SC/ST/OBC candidates (OBC candidates must submit the latest Central Government format certificate, not more than one year old, from the date of interview) • PG Degree/Diploma Certificate/DM/M.Ch Certificate, as applicable • State Medical Council/MCI Registration Certificate with MS/MD/DNB qualification (for Senior Resident and Specialist posts) or DM qualification (for the Super Specialist post) • No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the present employer, if applicable • Experience Certificate, if applicable • Income and Asset Certificate for EWS category candidates, as per DOPT letter No. 36039/1/2019-Estt.(Res) dated 31 January 2019
Important Instructions
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview or for joining. • Selected candidates must pay a security deposit of Rs. 50,000 through a Demand Draft in favour of "ESIC Fund Account No. 1" payable at Baddi at the time of joining. This amount is refundable after successful completion of the contract period, on production of a "No Dues Certificate." • Selected candidates must enter into an agreement with the Medical Superintendent, ESIC Hospital, Baddi, on a non-judicial stamp paper of Rs. 100, the cost of which is borne by the candidate. • The competent authority reserves the right to fill up all, some, or none of the advertised posts without assigning any reason. • The number of vacancies is likely to change depending on actual requirement at the time of interview. • The engagement is purely contractual and does not confer any right to preference for regular appointment or absorption in ESIC. • No service benefits such as PF, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Allowance, Seniority, Promotion, or leave are admissible. • Hostel accommodation, quarters, and uniform will not be provided. • Absence from duty for 15 days without proper permission will be treated as voluntary abandonment of the contractual engagement. • Part-time specialists are not entitled to any kind of leave, and the minimum working hours for part-time specialists is 16 hours per week. • Candidates suffering from 40% or more of the relevant disability are eligible for PH category reservation, subject to a valid cer…
