Eligibility
The educational qualifications for Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor and Senior Resident posts will be governed by the National Medical Commission guidelines dated 30 June 2025. Candidates should possess the applicable MBBS and postgraduate medical qualifications, such as MD, MS, DNB or another recognized qualification, for the relevant department. Applicants must also have updated registration with the National Medical Commission or the appropriate State Medical Council.
Age Limit
Post: Maximum Age Professor: Not exceeding 69 years Associate Professor: Not exceeding 69 years Assistant Professor: Not exceeding 69 years Senior Resident – specified non-clinical and para-clinical departments: Not exceeding 50 years Senior Resident – other departments: Not exceeding 45 years The 50-year limit applies to Senior Resident posts in Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Pathology, Forensic Medicine and Community Medicine. Age will be calculated as of the interview date. Applicable relaxation will be provided according to Government of India rules.
Salary
Post Name: Basic Consolidated Remuneration | Pay Level Professor: ₹1,23,100 | Level 13 Associate Professor: ₹78,800 | Level 12 Assistant Professor: ₹67,700 | Level 11 Senior Resident: ₹67,700 | Level 11 Other allowances will be provided where applicable and admissible under ESIC rules.

Category: Application Fee SC, ST, female candidates, Defence ex-servicemen and PH candidates: Nil All other categories: ₹500 The fee must be paid through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of ESIC Saving Fund Account No. 2, payable at Namkum. The Demand Draft must be submitted with the application form. The fee is non-refundable.

Important Instructions
