Salary
ESIC has adopted a consolidated remuneration structure for contractual faculty, as per ESIC Headquarters letters dated 13.04.2022 and 08.12.2022 (updated from time to time). Travelling Allowance (TA) and Dearness Allowance (DA) on TA are payable as applicable. Post: Amount per Month Professor: Rs. 2,48,850/- Associate Professor: Rs. 1,65,480/- Senior Resident: Rs. 1,42,170/- The notification also states there is no claim for services such as PF, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Allowance, Seniority, Promotion or Leave, although selected faculty are entitled to Earned Leave and Half Pay Leave as admissible to a temporary Government servant under the Central Civil Services (Leave) Rules, 1972, and Senior Residents are entitled to 2.5 Casual Leave on completion of a calendar month.

Category: Fee Amount SC / ST / Female candidates: Nil All other categories: Rs. 300/- The fee must be paid by a Demand Draft of Rs. 300/- in favour of "ESI Corporation", payable at Kalaburagi, drawn on any scheduled bank, and submitted along with the application form at the time of the walk-in interview. The Demand Draft must be issued after the date of issue of the advertisement. The application fee, once paid, is not refundable under any circumstances, and fees paid by any other mode will not be accepted.
Selection Process
• Applications submitted on the day of the walk-in interview, along with the requisite fee, are scrutinized by the Institute's scrutiny committee; only eligible candidates are allowed to appear before the selection committee. • If the number of applicants is large, the selection committee may devise shortlisting criteria, which may include a Screening Test. • 50% of the total marks is the criterion for eligibility for selection. • Selection is made on the basis of a personal interview conducted by a duly constituted selection board. • Selected candidates report for Medical Examination and verification of original certificates after receiving a provisional offer of appointment through email. • The offer of appointment is provisional, subject to verification of original certificates at the time of joining. • A waiting list is prepared and remains valid for 2 months from the date of the result, subject to approval of the Competent Authority. • The final result is published on the official website: https://www.esic.gov.in/recruitments.
How to Apply
This is a walk-in interview recruitment; there is no online application (apply online) process specified in the notification. Candidates must follow these steps: • Download/obtain the application form enclosed with the advertisement and fill it completely before the registration process. • Walk-in and register for the interview between 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM on 16.09.2026; no candidate will be entertained after 10:30 AM. • Report by 9:00 AM at the interview venue on the scheduled dates. • Carry all original certificates with one set of self-attested photocopies, 2 passport-size photographs, and category-specific certificates in the prescribed Government of India format, if claiming reservation. • Produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the present employer, if applicable, on the day of the interview. • Candidates applying for multiple cadres/posts must submit separate applications along with the requisite fee for each. No photocopies will be arranged or provided by the office under any circumstances, and applications in any format other than the prescribed one, or incomplete applications, will be summarily rejected.
