Age Limit
Each post carries two age figures in the notification: the age limit "for employment" and a higher age limit "for contractual service." Salary
Fixed monthly remuneration is specified for several posts: Medical Officer (Rs. 95,000/-), Medical Specialist (Rs. 1,30,000/-), Pharmacist (Rs. 36,500/-), Driver (Rs. 25,600/-), Clerk (Rs. 29,200/-), Data Entry Operator (Rs. 29,200/- or Rs. 21,800/- depending on location), and Peon (Rs. 21,800/-). Selection Process
The selection process, as per the notification, involves the following stages: • Screening of applications against the minimum qualification, age and experience criteria for each post. • Only screened candidates meeting the qualitative requirements will be called telephonically for an interview. • Candidates must appear for the interview with all original certificates, mark sheets and documents. • No TA/DA (travelling/dearness allowance) is admissible for attending the interview. • Selected candidates for the posts of Medical Officer, Radiologist, Gynaecologist and Dental Officer will be required to undergo 10 days of On-the-Job Training (OJT)/handing-taking over and obtain a certificate from a Medical Officer of the ECHS Polyclinic before signing the contract. • Reservation will be given to Ex-Servicemen (ESM) and Widows of service personnel, including War Widows (Veer Naris), as per the criteria in the notification.
