Selection Process
Candidates are evaluated on sports trials and sports achievements certificates. Marks are distributed as follows: 50 for recognized sports achievement, 40 for games skill, physical fitness and coach’s observation during trial, and 10 for educational qualification. Minimum qualifying marks are 65 for Level‑2/Level‑3 and 60 for Level‑1. Candidates scoring 25 or more in the game skill/fitness component are considered FIT. Selection is merit‑based; in case of a tie, the younger candidate is preferred.
