Important Instructions
• Internship duration ranges from a minimum of 4 weeks to a maximum of 6 months; only those completing the full 6 months are eligible for the stipend. • Interns may request an extension of their internship period, subject to the overall 6-month limit; such requests will be reviewed by the laboratory based on financial and infrastructure feasibility. • Interns will be bound by the provisions of the Indian Official Secrets Act, 1923, and DRDO's rules and regulations, and will only be granted access to non-classified areas. • Interns must not disclose or publish any restricted/confidential DRDO-related information on any platform, including newspapers, periodicals, or social media. • Any breach of security rules or laboratory regulations may lead to termination of the internship without notice. • DRDO will not be responsible for any injuries sustained during the internship period. • Candidates are responsible for the careful handling of any equipment provided and may be liable to compensate for damage. • No leave, except sick leave (with valid prescription), will be granted; applicable gazetted/closed holidays of the laboratory will apply. • Completion of the internship does not guarantee employment at DRDO.
