Age Limit
The upper age limits on the date of application are: • Professor: Age should not be more than 55 (fifty-five) years on the date of application. • Associate Professor: Age should not be more than 50 (fifty) years on the date of application.
Selection Process
Selection will be done as per 50% from Academic performance index (API) as calculated by the department + 50% from Interview / personality test (Total-100 marks). The date of interview will be notified later on.
How to Apply
• The prescribed format may be collected from the O/O the Agartala Govt. Dental College, IGM Hospital, Agartala on any working days from 11.00 AM to 4.00 P.M. or the same can be downloaded from the official web sites. • Submit application in prescribed format on or before 10th November, 2026 up to 5 p.m. positively. • The application should be addressed to the Principal, Agartala Government Dental College & I.G.M Hospital, I.G.M Hospital Complex, Agartala, West Tripura, Pin-799001. • Enclose self-attested copies of caste certificate (ST/SC) age proof certificate, PRTC (in case of state domicile BDS & MDS degree certificate, Registration Certificate of Dental Council, other qualification certificate, Experience Certificate (if any) with his/her application & the original certificate must be produced at the time of selection.

Candidates will have to enclose self-attested copies of certificates (two sets) and produce original certificates at the time of selection: • Mark sheet of Madhyamik • Mark sheet of HS(+2) • AADHAR CARD • BDS mark sheet, attempt certificate, BDS Degree • INTERNSHIP COMPLETION CERTIFICATE • MDS mark sheet and attempt certificate, MDS Degree • Work Experience & other qualifications (if any) • Gold medal in BDS, MDS • Publication in Indexed Journal as per DCI regulation, (Pubmed/Scopus/Web of Science)/(Original Research/Review/Case Report) *(1st /2nd / Corresponding author) • Form 16 (last Three years) • Updated Dental Registration Certificate • Caste Certificate (if any) • Age Proof Certificate & Nationality Proof Certificate • Permanent Resident Certificate • Two copies of all documents and photograph • CV of the Candidate • Hand written and self-attested undertaking by the candidate stating as under: "I hereby declare that all the information given / uploaded by me in the application are factually correct and true to the best of my knowledge and belief. I undertake that in the event of any information being found false or incorrect at any stage, my candidature is liable to be cancelled and I will have no claim on my selection to the post of Associate Professor/ Professor by the competent authority."
