Selection Process
Selection is based on a maximum of 100 points, distributed as follows: S. No.: Selection Criteria | Full Points 1: 10th Board Marks | 10 2: 12th Board Marks | 15 3: Essential Qualification (post-wise) | 25 4: Relevant higher qualification in the concerned stream, if applicable | 10 5: Written Examination / Skill Test | 40 Points for items 1–4 are awarded on a pro-rata basis (e.g. a candidate scoring 60% marks receives 60% of the points allotted to that section). If, after scrutiny, the number of applications received for a post is fewer than 10, the merit list is prepared using only the educational/training marking scheme (no written test/skill test is held for that post). If applications after scrutiny exceed 10, a Written Test/Skill Test is conducted, and the merit list combines educational, training, and written/skill test marks. Jharkhand's local residency and reservation policies apply, with preference given to Jharkhand state residents. The final merit list will be published at the Civil Surgeon's office and on the Godda district website (https://godda.nic.in), in two parts: Part-A (selected candidates) and Part-B (a one-year-valid waiting list).
