Required Documents

Candidates declared successful in the Mains Examination must submit self-attested copies of the following documents within 5 days of the result, along with a covering letter mentioning Roll Number and Application Number: • Proof of age (Matriculation certificate or equivalent) • Xth and XIIth Class mark sheets and pass certificates • LL.B. degree or equivalent law degree, and all semester/consolidated mark sheets • Advocate's licence and Bar Council enrolment certificate • All India Bar Examination pass certificate (if applicable) • Original certificate of practice period, countersigned by the Registrar General/District Judge • Employer certificates (for those in service or judicial service, as applicable) • Copies of order sheets/judgments where the candidate appeared, for the relevant periods • No Objection Certificate from employer (if in government/judicial service) • Income Tax Return acknowledgments and Assessment Orders for the years specified in the application • Caste certificate (for SC/ST candidates) or Disability Certificate (for PwD candidates), where applicable

Important Instructions

• The application form must be filled only in English; answers in the examination are also to be given in English, except where the syllabus specifies otherwise. • Candidates must carry the downloaded admit card and an original, valid photo ID (Voter ID, Passport, Bar Association ID, Aadhaar, or PAN) to the exam centre. A photo ID shown only on a mobile phone is not accepted. • Only a blue or black ball point pen may be used to darken the OMR oval; darkening more than one oval or making any change (including with an eraser or whitener) leads to 0.25 negative marks for that question. • The OMR sheet cannot be carried out of the exam hall after the test. • Candidates already in government/judicial service, a PSU, or a bank must inform their employer that they have applied, and must submit a No Objection Certificate if selected for Viva-Voce. • Canvassing or use of unfair means in any form will result in disqualification. • PwD candidates seeking scribe and/or compensatory time facilities must submit the prescribed certificate and notarised affidavit to the Joint Registrar [Examination (Judicial)] at least 3 days before the exam date. Eligible candidates get 20 minutes of compensatory time per hour of exam duration.
