Eligibility
You need one of the following: • A postgraduate degree in Social Work (MSW), Sociology, Psychology, Child Development or Law; or • A graduate degree in any discipline with a diploma in Child Rights or Counselling, plus three years of work experience.
Age Limit
You must be older than 30 years and younger than 65 years. Age is counted as on 1 July 2026. The notice states that the age limit fixed for selecting members of the Child Welfare Committee in the state applies.
Selection Process
A selection committee chooses candidates on the basis of their educational qualification and an interview. The interview date will be posted on the notice board of the District Child Protection Unit, Saran and on saran.nic.in. The guidelines on Support Persons' service and duties will be posted in the same places. The list of candidates eligible for interview and the panel list will also be published on the website and the office notice board.
