Eligibility
• Minimum age of 18 years. • Minimum qualification: passed Higher Secondary School Certificate (12th / H.S.C.) examination. • Basic computer knowledge is required; candidates holding an MSCIT or equivalent certificate will be given preference. • Must be a local resident of the concerned Gram Panchayat area applied for (the entire Gram Panchayat area is treated as the geographic unit for this purpose). • Must possess Aadhaar number, PAN, a bank account, and other necessary identity documents. • Must not have been found guilty of moral turpitude, financial fraud, or cyber crime. • Must have knowledge of Marathi and English.
Selection Process
The Setu Prabhari Officer and District Social Welfare Officer at the Collector's office jointly conduct scrutiny of applications. Based on the Government Resolution dated 23 August 2002 that established the District Setu Committee headed by the District Collector, the proposal is placed before the committee for a decision on granting Aaple Sarkar Seva Kendra. Where more than one eligible application is received for the same geographic area, a marking process (as per the Electronics, IT and Artificial Intelligence Department's corrigendum dated 9 July 2026) is carried out.
