Selected Pourakarmika are appointed on a temporary Direct Payment basis and are NOT entitled to any benefits available to permanent employees. • Selected candidates must mandatorily submit a Notary Affidavit undertaking that they will not demand regularisation/permanency individually or through unions and will not approach any court for regularisation at any point. • If a Direct Payment Pourakarmika dies during service, his/her family members are NOT entitled to compassionate appointment, pension, gratuity or any other service benefit. • Direct Payment Pourakarmika must perform sanitation/cleaning duties ONLY. They cannot be assigned to any other type of work or office duties. • No substitute can perform duty in place of the selected candidate - only the selected individual must personally perform all assigned duties. • If a selected candidate fails to perform duties or does not follow instructions/advice given by the office head, the concerned Commissioner/Municipal Commissioner may release them from duty without prior notice. • Selected employees must comply with all orders/circulars issued by the Government and the Directorate of Municipal Administration from time to time.
