Eligibility
• Junior Research Fellowship: Master’s degree (M.Sc./M.Tech.) with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in Biotechnology, Botany, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, or a relevant allied field of Life Sciences from a recognized University/Institute. Candidates must have cleared National Eligibility Tests like CSIR-UGC NET (including Lectureship/Assistant Professorship/Category 3), GATE, or national-level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments/Agencies (such as DBT-BET, ICMR, DST, etc.) as mandated by DBT rules. • Project Assistant: B.Sc./B.Tech. / M.Sc. degree with minimum 55% marks in Biotechnology, Botany, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, or relevant allied disciplines from a recognized University or Institute.
Age Limit
• Maximum Age Limit: 50 years for all posts. • Age relaxation is applicable subject to relaxation in accordance with official DBT rules.
Salary
• Junior Research Fellowship: ₹ 32000/- per month + 9% HRA • Project Assistant: ₹20,000/- per month + 9% HRA (as per DBT guidelines)
