Eligibility
Candidates must fulfil the essential and other stipulated criteria as on 12-10-2026. Candidates who are in the final semester or whose results are awaited are not eligible. Mere fulfilment of the minimum qualification does not confer any right to be called for interview, and candidature is purely provisional. Post-wise qualifications are given below.

Salary
The monthly emoluments for CSIR TKDL Project Associate Recruitment 2026 depend on the post and the qualifying exams cleared by the candidate: • Senior Project Associate: Rs. 42,000/- per month + HRA • Project Associate-I: Rs. 31,000/- per month + HRA for candidates who have qualified (a) a National Eligibility Test - CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE, or (b) a selection process through national level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions • Project Associate-I (others): Rs. 25,000/- per month + HRA for candidates who do not fall under the above category • The engagement is purely temporary and on contract basis, initially up to 31 March 2027 and up to a maximum of 31 March 2031, co-terminus with the project.
