• Nationality: Candidate must be a citizen of India. Post Name: Essential Qualification Project Associate-I (PAT-I): MSc in Natural/Agricultural/Pharmaceutical Sciences / MVSc / Animal Sciences OR BE/BTech or Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology/Medicine from a recognized University. (For Project 18: MCA/BE/BTech in IT/CS/AI.) Project Associate-II (PAT-II): MSc in Natural/Agricultural/Pharmaceutical Sciences / MVSc / Animal Sciences OR BE/BTech/MBBS + 2 years R&D experience in Industrial/Academic Institutions or S&T Organizations. OR Masters/Integrated Masters in Engineering or Technology. Project Assistant-II (PA-II): B.Sc. / 3-Year Diploma in Engineering/Technology. Senior Project Associate (SPA): Master's/BE/BTech in relevant field + 3 years R&D experience in Industrial/Academic Institutions or S&T Organizations. OR Masters/Integrated Masters in Engineering or Technology. OR Doctoral Degree in Science/Engineering/Technology/Pharma/MD/MS. Selection Process
• Candidates must report at the NIScPR Reception Desk on 14 May 2026 between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM (late arrivals will not be entertained). • Selection will be based on: (a) Academic records, and/or (b) Performance in written test (if applicable), and (c) Interview. • CSIR-NIScPR reserves the right to cancel or withdraw the offer at any stage without assigning any reason.

Important Instructions
• Project staff engagement is on a contractual basis up to 31 March 2027 only, or co-terminus with the respective project. • Under no circumstances shall the total tenure of project staff in CSIR-NIScPR or any CSIR laboratory exceed six years. • Only candidates who have acquired the essential qualification and whose result has been declared (at least provisional certificate) are eligible to appear. • Result-awaited / final semester candidates are not eligible where the minimum essential qualification is mandatory. • Experience will be counted from the date after acquiring the minimum essential educational qualification. Dissertation/thesis work during academic period will not be counted as experience. • Part-time, daily wages, visiting/guest faculty experience will not be counted towards valid experience. • Mere fulfilling of minimum qualifications does not confer any right to selection. • No upgradation of project staff shall be done in the same or new project. • The engagement may be terminated at any time by giving one month's notice by either side. • No TA will be paid to candidates for appearing in the Walk-in-Interview. • No claim for permanent position shall be entertained. • Canvassing in any form will result in disqualification. • Number of positions may increase or decrease.
