Salary
Apprentice trainees will receive a monthly stipend ranging from Rs. 9,600/- to Rs. 12,300/-, depending on the category and trade, as detailed in the vacancy table above. 50% of the amount is paid by CSIR-IMMT and 50% is the government share.
Selection Process
Selection is based entirely on the candidate's performance in the walk-in interview held at CSIR-IMMT, Bhubaneswar. There is no written exam mentioned in the notification. Candidates selected will receive an engagement letter by email and must submit their acceptance within 3 days and join within 7 days of receiving it, failing which the selection is treated as cancelled.

Bhatnagar Hall, CSIR-IMMT, Bhubaneswar between 9:30 AM and 10:15 AM on 18.08.2026 for registration and document verification. • Carry the filled application form along with self-attested photocopies of: 10th mark sheet and certificate; +2/Diploma/Degree mark sheet and certificate; Aadhaar card; Caste/Disability certificate (if applicable); and Bank passbook copy. • Attend the walk-in interview scheduled at 10:30 AM on 18.08.2026. Candidates arriving after the 10:15 AM reporting cut-off will not be permitted to appear for the interview.
