Vacancy Details
The notice prints one position for each of the two posts, 2 in total. The notice does not give a category-wise break-up. Post: Vacancies | Stipend & HRA Project Associate – II (PAT-II); Project Associate – II (PAT-I): 1 | (a) Rs. 35,000/- plus HRA for those candidates who have qualified National Eligibility Tests (CSIR-UGC NET, GATE etc.); (b) Rs. 28,000/- plus HRA for others who do not fall under (a) The notice prints the stipend only against PAT-II. The number of vacancies may increase or decrease at the time of actual selection.
How to Apply
• Go to the online application portal at https://patcell.cftri.res.in. • Submit the online application; no other mode of application is accepted. • Attach the certificates in support of date of birth, caste, qualification/experience etc. • Submit on or before 16.11.2026. Applications received after this date will not be considered. • Give the correct e-mail address in the form; shortlisted candidates are told the interview date by e-mail there. • Check https://cftri.res.in/ regularly for any addendum or corrigendum. No interim enquiry or correspondence will be entertained. If a candidate is already working in CSIR/CSIR-CFTRI, a NOC from the current PI is mandatory for applying. If selected, engagement is made only after submission of a No Dues Certificate and resignation from the previous project.
Important Instructions
• The posts are provisional and subject to ascertaining the availability of funds under the project before the declaration of results and issue of the engagement letter. • Candidates must ensure they fulfil the essential qualification and experience. If they apply without doing so, it is treated as giving wrong or misleading information, the onus is on the candidate, and candidature may be rejected at any stage of selection or after selection. • The performance of project staff is reviewed periodically, and the engagement may be terminated at any time by the office without assigning any reason. • CSIR-CFTRI may cancel or withdraw the offer of engagement if any discrepancy is found in a candidate's candidature at any stage. • The Director, CSIR-CFTRI may amend, delete or add terms and conditions, cancel the advertisement without assigning any reason, or decide not to fill the posts. • Canvassing in any form or bringing political or other influence is treated as a disqualification. • Other terms and conditions follow the guidelines issued by CSIR/the funding agency for project staff, as amended from time to time.
