Eligibility
• Applicants must be local residents of Chhattisgarh state and must submit a residence certificate issued by a competent authority. • Candidates must possess a valid live registration certificate from the district employment office. • Candidates must hold the specific educational qualification prescribed for the post applied for (see the table below). • Candidates must meet the prescribed age limit as on 01 January 2026. • Only regular courses recognised by UGC/AICTE and the relevant council will be considered valid; private, open, or distance/correspondence courses are not accepted for any post.
Age Limit
Age will be reckoned as on 01 January 2026, and the 8th/10th mark sheet will be the only valid proof of date of birth. • Medical posts: Minimum 18 years and maximum 70 years. • Managerial posts: Minimum 18 years and maximum 64 years. • Community Health Officer: Minimum 21 years and maximum 35 years, with a 5-year age relaxation for local residents of Chhattisgarh (i.e., up to 40 years). • Applicable government rules for age relaxation for reserved categories will apply, but in no case shall the maximum age limit, after all relaxations, exceed 45 years. • Candidates already working in government/semi-government service will get age relaxation as per prevailing government rules.
Salary
• Post-wise consolidated monthly remuneration ranges from ₹8,800 to ₹26,000 depending on the post (see the vacancy table above for exact figures against each post). • Community Health Officer: ₹16,500 per month as consolidated honorarium, along with a Performance-Based Incentive of up to ₹15,000 per month, as per guidelines issued from time to time by the Mission Director, National Health Mission.
Selection Process
Selection will be made by the District Level Selection Committee, National Health Mission, Balodabazar , purely on a merit basis. No written examination or interview is mentioned in the notification. The merit list will be prepared as follows: • Serial No. 8 (Laboratory Technician), 10 (2nd ANM), 17 (MPW-Male), and 18 (Jr. Secretarial Assistant-LDC): 40% weightage of 12th class marks + 45% weightage of the relevant technical course marks + experience marks. • Serial No. 1 (Block Programme Manager): 65% weightage of educational qualification marks + 20% weightage of computer qualification marks + experience marks. • All remaining posts: 85% weightage of educational qualification marks + experience marks. • In case of a tie in marks for any post, the candidate with the earlier date of birth (i.e., the older candidate) will be given preference. • Experience marks: 2 marks per year (maximum 10 marks for 5 years) for government/semi-government department experience; 3 marks per year (maximum 15 marks for 5 years) for experience under the National Health Mission; for Nursing Officer, Staff Nurse, and ANM posts, 4 marks per year (maximum 20 marks) for ANM/GNM/Nursing-trained midwife candidates. Applications will be accepted only through Registered Post or Speed Post; applications submitted in person or through any other medium will not be considered. • Download the prescribed application form from the official district website, www.balodabazar.gov.in. • Fill in all the required fields carefully and completely in the prescribed format. • Affix a recent passport-size photograph, attested by a gazetted officer or self-attested, at the designated place on the form. • Self-attest all supporting documents and arrange them in the prescribed order mentioned above. • Clearly mention your name, post applied for, and the name of the programme (NHM/NUHM/RBSK/NRC, etc.) on top of the application and the envelope. • Candidates applying for more than one post must submit a separate application form for each post. • Send the completed application by Registered Post/Speed Post to the Office of the Chief Medical and Health Officer, District Balodabazar (Chhattisgarh), so that it reaches on or before 07 September 2026, 5:30 PM.
