- Post: 7th CPC Level | Prescribed Qualification Junior Engineer (P-Way): 6 | Three-year Diploma in Civil Engineering, or B.Sc. in Civil Engineering (3 years), or a combination of any sub-stream of basic streams of Civil Engineering from a recognised University/Institute. Junior Engineer (Works): 6 | Three-year Diploma in Civil Engineering, or B.Sc. in Civil Engineering (3 years), or a combination of any sub-stream of basic streams of Civil Engineering from a recognised University/Institute. Depot Material Superintendent (DMS): 6 | Three-year Diploma in any Engineering Discipline (including B.Sc. in Civil Engg. of 3 years), or combination of any sub-stream of basic streams of Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering from a recognised University/Institute. Post Graduate Teachers (PGT): 8 | Masters Degree from a recognised University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the relevant subject, OR 2-year integrated PG course from a Regional College of Education of NCERT in the relevant subject AND B.Ed from a recognised University. Since GDCE is conducted against DRQ (Direct Recruitment Quota) vacancies, the educational qualification required is the same as for direct recruitment conducted by RRBs.

• Mathematics: Number Systems, BODMAS, LCM/HCF, Ratio & Proportions, Percentage, Mensuration, Time & Work, Simple & Compound Interest, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics, Pipes & Cistern. • General Intelligence & Reasoning: Analogies, Series, Coding-Decoding, Venn Diagram, Data Interpretation, Analytical Reasoning, Directions, Statement-Arguments etc. • General Awareness: Current Affairs, Indian Geography, Culture, History, Indian Polity & Constitution, Indian Economy, Environment, Sports, Science & Technology. • General Science: Physics, Chemistry and Life Sciences (up to Class 10 CBSE syllabus). • Professional Ability (50 questions): Education (22-28 Q) - Philosophy, Sociology, Human Values, Democracy, Integration; Psychology of Learner & Teaching (13-18 Q); Curriculum and Instruction (8-12 Q).
How to Apply
This is an offline application process meant exclusively for regular CLW employees. There is no online application portal. 1. Download Application Format: Obtain the application form in Annexure-C format as enclosed with this notification (GDCE 01/2026 dated 10.04.2026). Affix one recent self-attested photograph in the space provided. 2. Fill the Application Form: Enter all details accurately - Name (in capitals), Date of Birth, Age as on 09.04.2026, Designation & Ticket No., HRMS ID & Employee No., Date of initial appointment & grade, Educational Qualification, Date of appointment to present grade, Post(s) applied for, Community (UR/SC/ST/OBC), PwBD status, Mobile number, and Email address. 3. Get Controlling Authority Signature: The completed application must be forwarded by the controlling authority - obtain the signature of the controlling supervisor with designation, and the counter signature of the controlling officer with office seal. The Establishment Officer must also certify the particulars from the Service Book. 4. Attach Required Documents: Enclose self-attested copies of educational qualification certificates, category certificate (SC/ST/OBC), PwBD certificate (if applicable), and any other relevant documents. 5.
