Category: Application Fee General: Rs. 350 Other Backward Class (OBC): Rs. 250 SC / ST / PWD (Divyang): Rs. 200 As per the rules of the Government of Chhattisgarh, candidates who are local residents of Chhattisgarh and who actually appear in the exam will have their application fee refunded to the same bank account used for payment, after the exam result is declared.
Exam Pattern
The SET consists of two papers, both containing only objective (multiple-choice) questions, and there is no negative marking in either paper. Paper: Marks | Number of Questions | Duration Paper I: 100 | 50 (all compulsory) | 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM Paper II: 200 | 100 (all compulsory) | 2:00 PM to 4:15 PM • Paper I is compulsory for all candidates and is of a general nature, assessing teaching aptitude, research aptitude, reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness. • Paper II is based entirely on the subject chosen by the candidate, covering the complete syllabus of that subject. • Each question in both papers carries 2 marks. How to Apply
• Visit the official CGSSB website at https://cgssb.cgstate.gov.in. • Complete Profile Registration if you have not already done so, using the "Instructions to fill the FORM" guidance on the website. • Carefully verify all details in your Profile Registration, since the online application and final result are both generated from this information. • Fill in the SET 2026 application form using your registered profile. • Pay the applicable application fee online. • Click the "SUBMIT" button to finally submit your application. An application is not considered complete unless it has been submitted. • Download and take a printout of the successfully submitted application form and keep it safely. Candidates get 3 days after the application closing date to correct any errors themselves. Any correction must be made in the Profile Registration for basic details, after which it will reflect automatically in the application. No corrections will be made by CGSSB at any stage, and results are prepared strictly based on the information filled in by the candidate.
