Eligibility
There is one post, Sonologist, with 3 places on the panel. The notice lists these qualifications for doctors appointed to the Sonologist panel: • The candidate should hold a Post Graduate degree/ diploma/ DNB in the concerned subject. • The candidate should have 1 year of experience after obtaining the Post Graduate degree. • A certificate of registration with the Maharashtra Medical Council is required. • For the additional qualification, a certificate of registration or renewal with the Maharashtra Medical Council is required. Age limit: The age limit for doctors on the Sonologist panel is up to 65 years. The notice gives no "as on" date for age.
Selection Process
A total of 3 Sonologists will be selected for the panel. Sonologists will also be selected for a waiting list (प्रतिक्षायादी). The final decision on who joins the panel rests with the Executive Health Officer, Public Health Department.
Important Instructions
• Each maternity home should have at least two specialists on its Sonologist panel. • Panel specialists should preferably live near the maternity home or hospital.
