- • Candidates holding medical qualifications must be registered with the Maharashtra Medical Council and hold a valid certificate. • Blacklisted candidates and candidates who have completed 8 posts will not be considered. • Candidates who registered on or before 31 October 2026 and have not completed a total of 08 Resident Posts must submit an undertaking. The undertaking states that their total tenure of Resident Posts is less than 4 years. Without it, they will not be considered for a post. • A candidate who does not join the post when offered, or who abandons the post before the tenure ends, is not eligible for appointment to any of the Municipal Medical Institutions for 3 years from the date of leaving the post. Age Limit
The age limit is 38 years for Open category candidates and 43 years for Reserved category candidates. The notice does not give an "as on" date for age.

The application is offline. Candidates buy the form at the college and hand it in there in person. Application forms sent by post will not be considered. • Buy the application form at the Administrative office, D Wing, 1st Floor, Hinduhridaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray Medical College & Dr. R. N. Cooper Municipal General Hospital, Juhu. Forms are sold from 26 October 2026 to 3 November 2026 (except Saturday and Sunday), between 11.00 am and 01.30 pm and between 02.00 pm and 04.00 pm. • Pay the form fee of Rs. 1027/- (Form Fees Rs.870/- + GST 18%) when you buy the form. • Fill in the whole form in legible handwriting and sign it. Incomplete or wrongly filled applications will not be accepted. • Reserved category candidates must attach attested copies of the Caste Certificate, Caste Validity and Non-Creamy Layer certificate (wherever applicable). • Hand in the form at the Administrative office, Ground Floor, Hinduhridaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray Medical College & Dr. R. N. Cooper Municipal General Hospital, Juhu, Mumbai – 400 056. Forms are accepted from 26 October 2026 to 3 November 2026 (except Sunday), between 10.30 am and 01.30 pm and between 02.00 pm and 05.00 pm on all working days. Applications received after the due date and time will not be accepted.

• The completed and signed application form. • Reserved category candidates: attested copies of the Caste Certificate, Caste Validity and Non-Creamy Layer certificate (wherever applicable), attached to the application. • Original certificates, brought to counselling for verification. • Reserved category candidates: the original caste certificate and caste validity certificate, produced at the time of interview. • Candidates who will be appointed in the same hospital where they worked in their last tenure: the original receipt of the Rs.10,000/- deposit paid earlier. • Candidates who registered on or before 31 October 2026 and have not completed a total of 08 Resident Posts: an undertaking that their total tenure of Resident Posts is less than 4 years. • At joining: a Demand Draft/Pay Order for Rs.10,000/- in favour of "BrihanMumbai Municipal Corporation" as the security deposit.
Important Instructions
• A candidate found to have given false information or a false certificate, or to have withheld information, in the application form will not be considered for appointment. If already appointed, the appointment may be terminated. • Selected candidates should report for duty immediately. A candidate who does not may be blacklisted for 3 years. • The notice states that the selection/appointment of candidates for the post of Registrars & House officers can be changed if a BONDED CANDIDATE / DNB STUDENT becomes available.
