Salary
Selected candidates will receive the following compensation, along with medical benefits, as per the official notification. Post: Compensation | Medical Benefits Project Engineer: 1st Year: Rs. 84,000/- per month 2nd Year: Rs. 88,000/- per month | Reimbursement of premium for Mediclaim Policy of Rs. 5 lakhs for self and family (self, spouse, and dependent children)

A non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 236/- is payable by General, OBC, and EWS candidates. SC/ST candidates and Persons with Disability are exempted from paying the processing fee. The fee must be paid online through SBI Collect, using the link provided on the official website. Selection Process
The selection process for BHEL Project Engineer Recruitment 2026 is as follows: • If the number of eligible applicants for a post is up to 1:10 of the number of vacancies, Personal Interviews will be conducted for all eligible candidates. • If the number of eligible applicants exceeds the 1:10 ratio, the number of candidates called for Personal Interview will be restricted based on the aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying examination (Degree). The engagement is purely on a Fixed Tenure Basis and is not against any permanent vacancy. It does not entitle any candidate to claim regular or permanent employment with BHEL in the future.
