Post Name: Pay Scale (ORSP Rules, 2017) Junior Clerk-cum-Copyist: Rs. 19,900–63,200/- (Level-4 of Pay Matrix) Stenographer Grade-III: Rs. 25,500–81,100/- (Level-7 of Pay Matrix) Junior Typist: Rs. 19,900–63,200/- (Level-4 of Pay Matrix) Salaried Amin: Rs. 21,700–69,100/- (Level-5 of Pay Matrix) Usual Dearness Allowance (D.A.) and other allowances will be admissible as applicable from time to time, subject to the outcome of W.P.(C) No. 1273 of 2014 pending before the Hon'ble High Court of Orissa, Cuttack.
Syllabus
• English: Essay writing, letter/application writing, translation of an Odia passage into English, translation of an English passage into Odia, and summary writing (allocation of marks differs slightly by post). • Arithmetic: Vulgar fractions and decimals, H.C.F. and L.C.M., simple and compound interest, simple and compound practice, percentage, profit and loss, mixtures, partnership, averages, rates and taxes, insurance, square and cubic measures, and problems on time-and-work and time-and-distance. • General Knowledge: Current events and everyday matters expected of an educated person. • Computer Science Test (Practical): Paragraph formatting, table insertion, printing and saving files, file transfer, website browsing/downloading, e-mail use, pen-drive use, and basic accounting software. • Viva-Voce: Assesses the candidate's alertness, general outlook, and suitability for the post.
Selection Process
Selection for each post is made through a Written Examination, a Skill/Computer Science Test, and a Viva-Voce Test. The written examination for all posts will be conducted on the same day.

Important Instructions
