Eligibility
Candidates must fulfil the educational qualification and age limit as on the last date for submission of applications (06-11-2026). Post-wise eligibility is given below.
Age Limit
The minimum age is 18 years. The maximum age limits are given below. A one-time relaxation of 5 years (as a onetime measure) is granted to all categories of candidates as per the Government Order dated 29-01-2026. • Minimum Age: 18 years • General Category: 35 years (+5 years one-time relaxation) • Category-2A, 2B, 3A and 3B: 38 years (+5 years one-time relaxation) • SC, ST and Category-1: 40 years (+5 years one-time relaxation) • Age relaxation for government servants, widows, ex-servicemen and persons with disabilities will be given as per the Karnataka Civil Services (General Recruitment) Rules, 1977.
Salary
Selected candidates will be paid the following pay scales: • Typist and Typist-Copyist: Rs. 34,100 - 67,600 (initial pay Rs. 34,100 per month) • Process Server: Rs. 31,775 - 61,300 (initial pay Rs. 31,775 per month) • Peon: Rs. 27,000 - 46,675 (initial pay Rs. 27,000 per month) • Selected candidates will be covered under the National Pension Scheme (NPS).
