Age Limit
The upper age limit as on 01.08.2026 is 43 years for Unreserved (UR) category candidates. Category: Age Relaxation OBC (NCL): 3 years SC: 5 years Candidates seeking age relaxation for Havildar (Security) posts must attach a copy of the necessary certificate(s) along with the application and submit it in original at the time of the Physical Endurance Test/Written Test and at any subsequent stage for verification. Salary
Selected candidates will be placed in Wage Group-III / Career Path-III with the following pay scale, along with admissible allowances as per company rules. Grade/Career Path: Pay Scale/CTC WG-III / CP-III: Rs. 20,500-3%-79,000/- + admissible allowances In addition to Basic Pay, selected candidates will be entitled to other allowances such as Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Perquisites at the rate of 30% of the annual basic pay, reimbursement of medical expenses, Group Insurance, PF, Pension, and Gratuity, as per company rules.
Selection Process
Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria will be shortlisted for the selection process, which consists of the following stages: • Physical Endurance Test: Eligible candidates will undergo a Physical Endurance Test at Kotdwar, Uttarakhand. A self-declaration form for fitness and willingness will need to be submitted at the time of the test, and the form will be provided by BEL on the day of the test. • Written Test: Candidates who qualify in the Physical Endurance Test will be shortlisted for the Written Test, also to be held at Kotdwar, Uttarakhand. The date of the Physical Endurance Test and Written Test will be intimated later.
