Vacancy Details
A total of 5000 training seats have been announced for engagement as Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961. These are distributed State/UT-wise across SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and UR categories with horizontal reservation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD). Eligibility
Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions as on the cut-off date (01-05-2026). Candidates must be registered on Government Apprenticeship Portals (NATS and/or NAPS) before applying. Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply. Criteria: Details Registration Requirement: Candidates must be registered on NAPS portal (https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) and/or NATS portal (https://nats.education.gov.in) before applying. Educational Qualification: Graduation Degree in any Discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualifications recognized by the Central Government. For NATS candidates: date of passing Graduation should not be more than 4 years preceding 01-05-2026. Prior Apprenticeship: Candidate should NOT have undergone Apprenticeship with Bank of Baroda or any other Establishment in the past, and should not currently be pursuing Apprenticeship Training with any Establishment. Training / Job Experience: Candidates who had training or job experience for a period of 1 year or more after completing educational qualification shall NOT be eligible. State/UT Application: Candidates can apply for engagement as apprentice in one State/UT only and must select up to 3 preferred training locations/centres from those notified within that State/UT. Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India guidelines for reserved categories, subject to the condition that NAPS-registered candidates should be below 34 years as on 01-05-2026. Selection Process
Selection for engagement of apprentices will be based on three stages - Online Examination, Document Verification, and Test of local language of the State. Candidates must qualify all three stages. Final selection is subject to medical fitness as per the Bank's requirements. A State-wise and Category-wise Wait List will be published for vacancies arising from non-acceptance or non-reporting by selected candidates; this wait list remains valid for 1 year from result declaration or until the next engagement exercise, whichever is earlier. How to Apply
Applications must be submitted online only. No other mode of application will be accepted. Candidates must first mandatorily register themselves on the Government Apprenticeship portals - NATS (https://nats.education.gov.in) and/or NAPS (https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in). After completing registration on NAPS/NATS, eligible candidates will receive an email from [email protected] inviting them to fill the final "Application cum Examination Form" and make payment of the applicable fee/charges. The application registration is considered complete only when fee/charges are deposited with BFSI SSC. Candidates must note down their Enrolment Id (NATS portal) and Apprentice Registration Code (NAPS portal) for all future correspondence. Important Instructions
• This is NOT regular employment or contract employment in the Bank. Apprentices will be TRAINEES only and not employees of Bank of Baroda. • The apprentice shall have no right to claim employment in the Bank after completion of training. Bank of Baroda has no obligation to offer regular employment to apprentices during or after the apprenticeship period. • Candidates can apply for engagement as apprentice in one State/UT only.
