Eligibility
All 30 engagements are for Group-D services on a daily-wage, purely temporary basis. A candidate, in order to be eligible, must: • be a citizen of India; • have passed at least Class-VIII examination conducted by any recognised educational institution; • be not below 18 years and not above 42 years of age as on the date of this advertisement (4 November 2026); • be able to speak, read and write Odia and also have elementary knowledge in English; • be of good character, sound health, "good physique" and "free from organic defect or bodily infirmity"; • not have more than one spouse living, if married; • not have any past criminal antecedent or record. Age relaxation is not specified in the notice.
Selection Process
Selection shall be made through a Walk-in Interview of the eligible candidates whose applications have been received within the prescribed period and found complete in all respects. The date, time and venue of the interview will be notified later on the District Court website and on the notice boards of the District Court. Preference for cooking, driving, house chores, electric and plumbing skills applies subject to overall merit. The decision of the Authority regarding shortlisting and selection shall be final and binding, and no correspondence in this regard shall be entertained. No TA/DA will be paid to applicants for appearing in the interview.
