Eligibility

Age Limit
Candidates must not be less than 21 years and not more than 35 years of age as on the last date of receipt of application, 30th September 2026. • Age relaxation of up to 5 years for candidates belonging to the Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe (APST) category. • Age relaxation of up to 10 years for candidates belonging to the PwBD category (15 years for APST-PwBD candidates). • Age concession for regular State Government employees applies as per prevailing government rules. • A one-time upper age relaxation applies for candidates applying for the earlier cancelled examinations (ADO, HDO, VO, and DDO posts), per Government Notification dated 29th June 2026. • Date of birth accepted will be as entered in the Matriculation Certificate issued by a recognized Board; no other document (horoscope, affidavit, birth extract, etc.) will be accepted as age proof. Selected candidates for Group-A posts (Agriculture Development Officer, Horticulture Development Officer, Veterinary Officer, Assistant Director-Sericulture) will be placed in Pay Level 10, carrying a pay scale of ₹56,100–₹1,77,500. The Dairy Development Officer (Group-B) post carries Pay Level 6, ₹35,400–₹1,12,400.
