Eligibility

Age Limit
Candidates must be not less than 21 years and not more than 35 years of age as on the last date of receipt of the online application form, i.e., 12 October 2026. Category: Age Relaxation Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe (APST): Up to 5 years APST PwBD candidates: Up to 15 years Regular State Government employees: As per Government rules and regulations in force The date of birth accepted will be as per the Matriculation Certificate issued by a recognized Board; no other documents relating to age (horoscope, affidavits, etc.) will be accepted.
Salary
Post: Pay Scale Finance & Accounts Officer / Treasury Officer: Level 10, ₹56,100–1,77,500 per month Sub-Treasury Officer: Level 7, ₹44,900–1,42,400 per month Assistant Director (Prosecution): Level 10, ₹56,100–1,77,500 per month, plus Special Pay of ₹1,000 per month Assistant Public Prosecutor: Level-8, ₹47,600–1,51,100 per month
Application Fee
Candidates are required to pay a fee of ₹200/- through online mode only. PwBD candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee as per Section 19 of the Arunachal Pradesh Rights of Persons with Disabilities Rules, 2018.
Selection Process
Eligible candidates appear in a Written Examination as per the notified Scheme of Examination. Subject/Paper: Maximum Marks General English and General Studies (Objective): 150 Concerned Subject Paper-I (Descriptive): 150 Concerned Subject Paper-II (Descriptive): 150 Viva-Voce: 50 Total: 500 The Concerned Subject for Finance & Accounts Officer/Treasury Officer and Sub-Treasury Officer is any one of Commerce, Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics (Paper-I and Paper-II). For Assistant Director (Prosecution) and Assistant Public Prosecutor, Paper-I covers Core Criminal Laws and Paper-II covers Constitutional Law and Other Special Legislations. To qualify for the viva-voce, a candidate must score an aggregate of 33% of total marks in the written examination, with at least 20% in each paper/subject. PwBD candidates must score an aggregate of 20%, with at least 10% in each paper/subject. Around 3 times the number of advertised vacancies are called for interview.

• Register for One Time Registration (OTR) on the APPSC website, if not already registered • Already-registered candidates can directly log in using their existing User ID and password • Apply online at appsc.gov.in between 21 September 2026 (5:00 PM) and 12 October 2026 (5:00 PM) • Carefully fill in the requisite details and upload the required scanned documents (signature, photograph, photo ID, APST Certificate, PRC, Bachelor's Degree certificate, all-semester mark-sheets, and relevant experience certificates) • Submit only a single application - if multiple applications are submitted due to unavoidable circumstances, only the one with the highest Registration ID (RID) will be accepted, and fees paid against other RIDs will not be adjusted • Carefully review the Disclaimer in the online application form before final submission, as no additional time will be given for further changes after submission
