Eligibility

Age Limit
Candidates must be not less than 21 years and not more than 35 years of age as on the last date of receipt of online application, i.e. 20 October 2026. Category: Age Relaxation Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe (APST): Up to 5 years Defence Service Personnel (APST) disabled in operations during hostility with a foreign country or in a disturbed area: Up to 8 years APST PwBD candidates: Up to 15 years Regular Government servants: As per Government rules and regulations in force The date of birth accepted is the one recorded in the Matriculation/High School Leaving Certificate or Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate. No other document (horoscope, affidavit, municipal birth extract, service records) will be accepted as proof of age. Selection Process
APPSCCE-2026 selection comprises two successive stages: a Preliminary Examination (screening only) and a Main Examination (Written and Interview).
How to Apply
• Visit the official APPSC website at appsc.gov.in. • Complete One Time Registration (OTR) if not already registered - those already registered can log in directly. • Fill the online application form for APPSCCE-2026 (Preliminary Examination) only; a Detailed Application Form (DAF) will be invited separately after the Preliminary result for those who qualify, with no additional fee. • Upload scanned copies of the required documents (see Important Instructions below). • Pay the application fee of Rs. 200 online (PwD candidates are exempted). • Submit only a single application - if multiple applications are submitted due to any unavoidable situation, the one with the highest Registration ID (RID) will be accepted, and fees are not adjustable across RIDs. • Review the declaration carefully before final submission, as no changes are allowed after submission.
Important Instructions
• Required scanned documents: signature (40–50 KB, JPG), recent colour passport photo (40–100 KB, JPG, white background, no headgear/sunglasses), self-attested Matriculation Certificate/Marksheet showing date of birth, self-attested APST certificate, self-attested Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC), and (for Government employees claiming age relaxation) a self-attested appointment order showing 3 years of continuous regular service. • Candidates already in Government service must inform their Employer/Controlling Authority in writing before applying, and upload the intimation/NOC at the DAF stage. • Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) must submit a disability certificate under Section 57 of the RPwD Act, 2016, clearly stating the percentage of disability and issued before the application deadline, to claim reservation. • Scribe facility is available only for Blindness, Locomotor Disability (both arms affected), and Cerebral Palsy candidates as of right; other PwBD categories require a certificate from a Government Chief Medical Officer/Civil Surgeon/Medical Superintendent. • Compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour is allowed for Blindness, Locomotor Disability (both arms affected), and Cerebral Palsy candidates in the written papers. • Candidature at any stage remains provisional and subject to the Commission's final eligibility decision; issuance of an Admit Card does not confer any right to the post.
