Eligibility
• The candidate must be an Indian Citizen, as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India. • The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam. • As domicile proof, candidates must upload a copy of a valid Permanent Resident Certificate issued in Assam for educational purposes, or an Employment Exchange Registration Certificate, which will be treated as proof of residency.
Age Limit
Candidates should not be less than 21 years and not more than 38 years of age as on 01-01-2026. Category: Upper Age Relaxation SC/ST: 5 years (upper age limit up to 43 years) OBC/MOBC: 3 years (upper age limit up to 41 years), as per Govt. Notification No. ABP.6/2016/9 dated 25th April 2018 Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD): 10 years, irrespective of SC/ST/OBC/UR category, as per Govt. Memorandum No. ABP.144/95/121 dated 28th October 2015 Ex-Servicemen: Maximum age 50 years as on 01-01-2026 for Unreserved category, relaxable further by 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates Assistant Manager (Human Resource) - departmental candidates: Upper age limit relaxable up to 45 years Age will be calculated on the basis of the Class-X/Class-XII Examination Admit Card/Pass Certificate/Marksheet issued by a recognized Central/State Board/Council, where the age/date of birth is clearly reflected. No other document will be accepted for age proof.
Salary
Post: Pay Scale | Grade Pay Assistant Manager (all disciplines): ₹37,300 to ₹1,12,000 per month | ₹14,200 The pay scale is inclusive of Grade Pay and other allowances as admissible to Assam State Government employees from time to time.
