Eligibility
The notice is for one Teaching Associate in the Department of Agricultural Extension. The essential qualifications are printed as follows: • a) Ph.D. in the relevant subject • or a) Master's Degree in relevant subject • b) Bachelor's Degree of 4/5 years having first division or equivalent overall grade point average • c) Experience for at least 3 years of respective teaching/ research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/ Associate ship/ Training/ other engagements • d) Published one Research paper in Science Citation Index (SCI)/ NAAS rated ≥4.0 journals • e) Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelors degree and 2 years Master's degree should have the NET qualification Age limit: The upper age limit is 40 years for Men and 45 years for Women. Remuneration (per month): Qualification Held: Pay Master's Degree holders: Rs.61,000/- + Applicable HRA Ph.D. Degree holders: Rs.67,000/- + Applicable HRA HRA will be given as per the existing State Government rates applicable in various places/ locations and is subject to change from time to time as per Government orders. Selection Process
Selection is through the walk-in interview held on 12 November 2026 from 10:00 AM. The decision of the selection committee for the position will be final and binding in all respects. The selected candidate will be required to undergo a medical examination at their own expense, as per the rules, to ensure physical fitness before appointment.
Important Instructions
• The incumbent shall not have any claim or right to claim any regular appointment in the University or any government organisation. • The incumbent shall not have any claim or right for further continuation of contractual service. • The engagement will be terminated after completion of 11 months or the filling of regular staff, whichever is earlier. • Contractual engagements can be terminated at any time without prior notice or assigning any reason. • The engaged person may leave the contractual service by giving one-month notice, otherwise one-month salary must be paid before leaving. • Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification of the candidature at the time of selection, or termination even during the contractual engagement period. • No TA and DA will be given to candidates appearing for the interview. • The Associate Dean of the College has the right to cancel or postpone the interview for the said date due to any unavoidable circumstances.
