Eligibility
There are 2 posts of Research Associate (RA). The post is purely temporary, for 11 months from the date of joining. Candidates must meet one of the following educational qualifications: • Doctoral Degree/ Ph.D in Genetics & Plant Breeding, or • Master's degree in Genetics & Plant Breeding with 4/5 years of Bachelor's Degree having 1st division or equivalent overall grade point average with at least 3 years of respective teaching/research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/Associateship/Training/Other engagements, Published one research paper in Science Citation Index (SCI)/NAAS rated (>4.0) Journal. Candidates having a Post-graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor's degree and 2 years Master's degree should have NET qualification. All the relevant degrees should be completed in ICAR accredited Universities/Colleges.
Age Limit
The age limit is not exceeding 40 years for men and 45 years for women. Age relaxation is as per Government norms for SC / ST candidates. The notice does not print a cut-off date for counting age.
Salary
Qualification: Pay M.Sc.(Ag.): Rs.61,000/- + HRA per month Ph.D.: Rs.67,000/- + HRA per month HRA is paid on top of the pay, as per the existing state Govt. rates applicable in various places/locations. Candidates should check the official notification for the full eligibility conditions of the post.
