Nationality: Indian nationals, including Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) Cardholders under Section-7A of the Citizenship Act, 1955. Qualifications, experience and other eligibility conditions will be reckoned as on the last date of submission of the Application Form. Any relaxation in the percentage of marks will be given as per the rule of the Government of India, wherever applicable. The prescribed qualifications and experience are minimum, so meeting them does not by itself entitle an applicant to be called for interview.

Category: Fee All applicants: Rs. 500/- non-refundable processing fee for each Application Form PwD candidates: Exempted, if an authentic Disability Certificate on the prescribed Proforma is uploaded with the form The fee is paid only in online mode at the Careers Portal.
Selection Process
Selection is through a Local Selection Committee of eligible candidates, held on 25 November 2026 in the Office of the Dean, Faculty of Medicine, AMU, Aligarh. Candidates report half an hour before their scheduled time. Department: Committee time | Reporting time Anaesthesiology: 12:30 p.m. | 12:00 noon Pharmacology: 01:00 p.m. | 12:30 p.m. Pathology: 01:30 p.m. | 01:00 p.m. The University may limit the number of applicants called for interview to a reasonable number, and may set up a committee to scrutinize and short-list applications. It will not correspond with applicants who are not short-listed. If a mistake in scrutiny or selection is found at any stage, even after an interview or appointment letter is issued, the University may modify, withdraw or cancel the selection process.
How to Apply
• Fill in the Application Form online at the AMU Careers Portal, following the advertisement and the User Manual on the portal. • Fill a separate form for each post listed under a different serial number. • After submitting, print the PDF of the form on A-4 size paper. • Sign the printout and paste a recent front-facing photograph at the designated place. • Attach self-attested copies of the documents listed below. • Write the post applied for, the advertisement number and its date on the top-left side of the cover. • Send the complete form by post to: Office of the Dean, J. N. Medical College, Faculty of Medicine, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh-202002. Documents to enclose, with originals of all of them brought for verification at the interview: • All marksheets, certificates and degrees from class Xth to postgraduation, including the High School Certificate from a recognized board • Internship completion certificate • Valid registration of graduation and post graduation from NMC • Experience certificates and other testimonials • No Objection Certificate from the present employer, if employed, and relieving orders of all previous employers • Certificate of NET, JRF, SLET/SET, CSIR etc., as the case may be • M.
