Eligibility
• A postgraduate medical degree, viz. MD/MS/DNB/Diploma, in the respective discipline from a recognised University/Institute. • For School of Public Health: A postgraduate medical degree, viz. MD/DNB in Community Medicine/PSM, from a recognised University/Institute. • For Dentistry: A postgraduate degree, i.e., MDS, in the concerned speciality.
Age Limit
The upper age limit is 45 years as on the last date of receipt of the application form. The maximum permissible relaxations are as follows: Category: Age Relaxation SC/ST: 5 years OBC: 3 years PwBD (General Category): 10 years PwBD (OBC Category): 13 years PwBD (SC/ST Category): 15 years Ex-Servicemen and Commissioned Officers (including ECOs/SSCOs)/Government servants: An additional 5 years over and above the relaxation otherwise applicable, subject to conditions specified in the notification To avoid any confusion regarding age eligibility, candidates can use our Age Calculator to calculate their exact age based on the prescribed cut-off date before applying.
Salary
Particulars: Details Pay: ₹67,700/- (Level-11, Cell No. 01, as per 7th CPC) Additional Allowances: Usual allowances, including Non-Practising Allowance (NPA), if applicable This is a fixed-tenure appointment under the Residency Scheme, not a regular/permanent post. The appointee will not be entitled to Provident Fund, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Attendance Treatment, Seniority, Promotion, or other benefits available to regularly appointed Government servants. Senior Residents are entitled to leave at the rate of 2½ days for every completed month.

Selection Process
• Shortlisting: Based on bio-data, educational qualification, and experience. The Search cum Selection Committee may shortlist candidates directly for interview. • Written/Screening Test (if required): If a large number of applications are received for any post, a Screening Test (computer-based or offline) may be conducted; the syllabus, scheme, and method will be notified on the AIIMS Raipur website. • Interview: Held only at AIIMS Raipur, Tatibandh, G.E. Road, Raipur (C.G.) 492099. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. • Final Selection: Made entirely on the basis of the interview. The decision of the Executive Director & CEO, AIIMS Raipur, is final and binding. Candidates must download their Admit Card from the AIIMS Raipur website, as no admit card will be sent by post.
