Eligibility

Candidates who have already completed the maximum permissible period of Senior Residency under the applicable Residency Scheme are not eligible. Applicants must also pass the qualifying examination on or before 31st July 2026 and be able to furnish proof of this by the same date. Salary
Selected Senior Residents will be paid as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC), Level-11 of the pay matrix (pre-revised PB-3), with an entry pay of Rs. 67,700 per month, plus Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) and other allowances as admissible under Government of India rules.
Selection Process
• Verification of eligibility and original documents. • Selection based on performance in the walk-in interview, subject to fulfilment of prescribed eligibility criteria, document verification and applicable reservation rules. • In case two or more candidates secure equal marks, the candidate older in age (earlier date of birth) will be placed higher in the merit list. • Performance in the interview and/or any other selection process, as decided by the Competent Authority. The list of selected candidates will be uploaded on the official AIIMS Patna website. The decision of the Competent Authority/Selection Committee is final and binding.
How to Apply
Despite the term "apply online" being commonly searched, AIIMS Patna is not accepting online applications for this recruitment. Candidates can apply only through offline mode, using the prescribed application form enclosed with the official advertisement. The steps are: • Download or obtain the prescribed application form from the official notification. • Fill in personal details, educational qualifications, and work experience in capital letters as instructed. • Affix a recent passport-size photograph and sign the declaration. • Report in person on any one of the walk-in interview dates (05.09.2026, 12.09.2026, 19.09.2026 or 26.09.2026) between 10:00 AM and 01:00 PM at the Committee Room, Admin Building, AIIMS Patna. • Carry the filled form along with all original documents and one set of self-attested photocopies for verification. No candidate will be allowed to appear for the interview after the stipulated reporting time.

Important Instructions
