• The engagement is purely on contract basis, initially for a period of [one year] from the date of joining, extendable subject to satisfactory performance, requirement of the Hospital and approval of the competent authority. • The engagement shall not confer any right or claim for regular appointment, absorption or continuation in the Hospital/Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. • No increment, Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA) or any other allowance shall be admissible during the period of engagement. • The selected candidates shall not engage in private practice or appear in any matter against the Hospital, the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare or the Government of India during the period of engagement, and shall furnish an undertaking to this effect and a declaration of no conflict of interest. • The selected candidates shall maintain strict confidentiality of all official records, documents and information that come to their knowledge during the engagement. • The engagement may be terminated by either party by giving one month's notice. The Hospital may, however, terminate the engagement at any time without notice in case of unsatisfactory performance, misconduct or breach of the terms and conditions. • Leave and other service conditions shall be governed by the instructions of the Government of India applicable to consultants engaged on contract basis, as amended from time to time. • A panel of candidates may be kept in waiting, in order of merit, w…
